The Vamplayers

The Vamplayers is a short documentary by Nnenna Onuoha, filmed in Lisbon, Portugal in 2016 during Temple of Darkness, a Vampire: The Masquerade LARP created and organised by Olisippo Obscura.

Through the players, characters and spaces of the game, the documentary offers a glimpse into the early years of Olisippo Obscura and our approach to live action role-playing, collaborative storytelling and immersive play.

Today, it remains a small time capsule of our history, capturing the community and the stories that shaped Olisippo Obscura during its first years.
